Lagos police chief calls for synergy between security agencies and communities – The Sun Nigeria

The Lagos State Police Command reiterated the importance of synergy between security agencies and communities to secure lives and property.

State Police Commissioner Mr. Abiodun Alabi who was pictured during the swearing in of the new leaders of the Central Igbo-Olomu Communities Development Association, headed by Mr. Jimoh Ismail Kayode, in the Ikorodu West Local Development Area, called on communities to work with security agencies for effective and efficient policing on occasion.

The Commissioner, who was represented on the occasion by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), spoke through the Deputy Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mr. Arigidi M.

Pledging to fully support the Igbo-Olomu community to the police to secure lives and property in the region, Kayode said the community is ready to work with the police to provide maximum security to all citizens. .

The new President General of the region called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to quickly address the various challenges facing the community in terms of good road network, schools and health centers.

He also pledged the commitment of the other executive members of the association to work with the government to distribute the dividends of democracy to all citizens.

Speaking on the occasion, the Igbo-Olomu Arab, Grand Chief Ifakayode Adetola also called on the state government to quickly address the various challenges facing the community.
